*Note we don’t know these people and they don”t live near us. There have two robberies down our street and one on the street next to us in the past week.

Tuesday: I leave the house for school at about eight o’clock and my mom stays up so she can wait for the children she babysits. So the last child is late as usual so my mom fell asleep. She heard a knock at the door at like 8:30 and she thinks it the last baby. So assuming this, she opens the door a little just to find that its not them. Instead its a black guy at the door and another one in the drive way. the one at the door is holding an empty duffle bag and the other one is just chillin’ in my driveway. So the guy at the door asks “Does  live here?” And my mom is like “no?” And the guy leaves.

Today: It happens again. This time its at a different time. Like around 11:30 This time they are beating on out door and ringing the doorbell frantically. so my mom, now worried from tuesday, has the alarm on(good job mom.) and doesn’t open the door, instead she looks out the window and its the same guys. and here is the question they asked: “You got any sugar?”. My mom says no and they leave.

Apparently these people really want to get into my house. And I’m a little scared, not because of the very valuable items in my house, but because my mom is here all by herself and won’t be able to defend herself. Sure i’d be sad if all my shit got stolen, but i would be distraught if they did anything to my mother. I mean now all you hear on the news is people beating the shit out of others and robbing them. So now my dad wants to buy my mother a gun to keep just in case. My mom doesn’t want is though, she is afraid of guns. I’m leaving her my shank just in case. ;)
